But where the Brightening Pad goes after dullness and dark spots, this one is built entirely around calming: reducing visible redness, soothing inflammation, and replenishing a barrier that's struggling to hold things together.

The green, stretchy fabric is one of the more practical design decisions in the K-beauty pad category. It contours easily to the cheeks, chin, and jaw (the areas most prone to redness and flare-ups) without needing multiple pads to cover the surface. The formula soaked into it is just as considered: azelaic acid does the heavy lifting on inflammation and post-breakout redness, while a seven-compound centella complex (all four key cica actives plus three extract forms) amplifies the calming effect from multiple angles simultaneously. Five forms of hyaluronic acid, ceramide NP, and squalane sit underneath all of that to restore and lock in moisture, because redness and dehydration almost always come as a pair.

Azelaic Acid (10%): A multitasking acid naturally found in grains and on healthy skin — it calms inflammation, kills acne-causing bacteria, gently unclogs pores, and inhibits the enzyme that triggers excess melanin production, making it effective on redness, active breakouts, and post-acne marks simultaneously. Notably well-tolerated by sensitive and rosacea-prone skin, and unlike most exfoliating acids, it doesn't increase sun sensitivity

7-Cica Complex: Seven centella asiatica-derived compounds — the full extract, leaf extract, root extract, plus isolated actives asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid, and madecassoside — each targeting inflammation and barrier repair through different biological pathways. 5-type Hyaluronic Acid + Ceramide NP + Squalane: A barrier-rebuilding trio that works alongside the calming actives: five HA molecules of varying sizes hydrate at multiple skin depths, ceramide NP fills the structural gaps in the skin's outer layer to prevent moisture loss, and squalane — a lipid identical to the skin's own — seals everything in without clogging pores
