Spicule Azelaic PDRN Cream
R 255.00
This acne-focused superstar from Mary & May's Spicule PDRN line features the highest spicule concentration of the three at 3,000ppm, a 10% tea tree water base, and a full acne-fighting active stack of azelaic acid, salicylic acid, 5% niacinamide, and zinc PCA, delivered deeper into congested skin than any of those actives could reach without the spicule assist.
This is where the Spicule PDRN line gets specifically acne-focused. Where the Collagen cream is about volume and the Retinol cream is about texture and cell renewal, this one has one clear mission: clear the skin, calm the damage, and stop the cycle. The formula base is 10% tea tree leaf water rather than plain water, meaning the antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties of tea tree are present in every layer of the cream, not just as a minor add-on ingredient. The tingle on application is real — at 3,000ppm, this has the highest spicule concentration of the three creams, creating the most active pore-opening experience of the line before delivering the actives that follow.
What gets delivered is a well-constructed, multi-mechanism acne formula. Azelaic acid tackles the problem at three angles simultaneously: it kills acne-causing bacteria, reduces the inflammation that makes breakouts red and painful, and inhibits the melanin production that turns healed spots into lingering dark marks. Salicylic acid clears the debris inside the pore itself. Zinc PCA regulates sebum output. Niacinamide at 5% calms redness and fades post-blemish hyperpigmentation. Madecassoside (isolated from centella) and CICA PDRN bring the barrier repair and recovery support, so the skin isn't simply being stripped and cleared but actively healed and rebuilt throughout the process. Ceramide NP, panthenol, and hyaluronic acid complete the formula's barrier layer. Clinically, the results after four weeks are convincing: sebum production down 39.05%, hyperpigmentation down 17.4%. Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and suitable for acne-prone skin.

Who it's for & what it does: A spicule-delivered acne spot cream for oily, congested, and blemish-prone skin; azelaic acid, salicylic acid, tea tree, and zinc PCA go deeper into skin than they could unaided, clearing breakouts and fading the marks they leave behind in one step.
Start out using 2 to 3 times a week so skin can adjust to spicule use. Do not use in the same routine as any other exfoliating actives. Patch test first.
