Where most cica serums rely on a single centella extract and call it done, this one goes considerably further. Tocobo uses a fermented centella approach — fermenting the plant increases the bioavailability of its active compounds (asiaticoside, asiatic acid, madecassic acid) and makes them easier for the skin to absorb and use. That fermented cica is then paired with three probiotic lysate strains (Lactococcus, Lactobacillus, and Bifida ferment lysate) that work at the microbiome level to strengthen the skin's surface immunity and reduce sensitivity over time, not just in the moment.

The texture is watery-light and absorbs almost instantly, sitting comfortably as a calming step between toner and moisturiser without any stickiness or residue. The hydration system underneath the calming complex is unusually comprehensive for a serum in this category: seven forms of hyaluronic acid at varying molecular weights hydrate at different skin depths, while ceramide NP reinforces the barrier, beta-glucan activates the skin's own repair response, and panthenol draws in additional moisture and soothes irritation. Tea tree extract (Melaleuca alternifolia) adds mild antibacterial support for acne-prone skin.
